Privacy policy
The short version: this site works without knowing who you are. We don't ask you to register, we don't run advertising trackers, and we'd rather hold no personal data than explain why we kept it. Last updated 4 July 2026.
Who we are
BuyWegovy UK ("we", "us") publishes price comparisons and buying guides for Wegovy in the UK at buywegovy.co.uk. For anything in this policy, contact hello@buywegovy.co.uk.
What we collect — and what we don't
There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no comment sections on this site, so browsing it doesn't require handing us any personal information. Two things touch data at all:
- Email. If you write to us, we'll have your email address and whatever you chose to include. We use it to reply and keep the thread only as long as the conversation needs — we don't add you to any mailing list, and we don't share your address with anyone.
- Analytics. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits and see which guides are read. Where analytics is enabled, it is aggregate and cookie-free wherever the tool allows; we don't build profiles of individual visitors.
Cookies and local storage
The only thing this site stores in your browser is your dark/light mode preference, kept in local storage on your own device so the site remembers your choice. It never leaves your browser and we can't read it from anywhere else. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Links to other sites
Our tables and guides link out to pharmacy and clinic websites. When you follow one of those links, the provider may know you arrived from our site. Once you're on a provider's site, their privacy policy applies — and because you may share health information with them during a consultation, it's worth reading. We never see anything you tell a provider: not your consultation answers, not your order, nothing.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you (usually: none, unless you've emailed us), ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we've handled your data badly. Email hello@buywegovy.co.uk and we'll respond within a month.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data — for instance, by adding an analytics tool — we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
